Sunday, July 20th, 2014 – It’s the 7 Year Anniversary Swimming For a Cure! It’s that time of year again, when Metuchen comes together to fight for a common cause: a Cure for Cancer. Over 100 swimmers have swam over 1000 miles in 6 years and at 7th year, the swimmers can’t be more excited to continue the tradition! This year the team and town came together in the quest for a cure “biathlon” style.
Partnering with the Metuchen-Edison YMCA, awarded was a special prize for swimmers who register for the Janice Garbolino 5k in September. A great way to pull families & friends together to raise money for our Swim 4 A Cure!!!
