Photos by Ernie and Patty

After a little miscalculation which street to enter Myrtle Park (E Walnut. We took Myrtle Avenue), we were on our way to experience yet another wonderful town tradition. It’s the 2014 Metuchen Spring Egg Hunt! We were warned to be there early as the event is literally over in minutes! Lucky for us, the Easter Bunny was late for the festivities. But once the Fire Department rolled into the lot with the Bunny aboard, we were set for some overload of cuteness. And everyone was eggxcited! (sorry couldn’t resist the pun)

There’s really not much to tell. Kids were grouped by age into the three designated areas inside Myrtle Park. Someone shouted 1, 2, 3 – the Bunny then signaled with its hand (paws) and there they went. The eggs – now you see them, now you don’t! There you go folks, that just about sums up what happens in an egg hunt. 😉

Ok here are some photos. If you want to see the complete album of close to 100 photos AND videos. Head on over to our Facebook page!
