On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10:00 am the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 88th Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. This year’s theme is “Land of the Free. Home of the Brave.” and we are particularly pleased to honor this year’s Grand Marshal, one of Metuchen’s hometown finest, Rob Donnan, U.S. Army, Combat Medical Specialist.

This tradition is one of the area’s longest established Memorial Day parades. The Chamber invites all members and non- members, civic groups and businesses to participate in the parade as well as inviting veterans and active duty personnel home on leave to join us in this important celebration. Registration for the parade can be done online by visiting www.metuchenchamberexchange.com or you may call our office at 732-548-2964. Veterans and Active Duty Personnel should please contact the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce by Friday, May 15, so that special arrangements can be made for their participation. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine.

The parade will kick off from the Pearl Street lot, proceed down New St., turn right at Main St., follow Main St through town, turn right at Brunswick Ave., and end at Edgar Middle School. The Memorial Day Ceremony will take place inside the Edgar Middle School Gymnasium (49 Brunswick Ave) at the conclusion of the parade. A map of the route is available on our website listed above.
