Each spring, typically in June, Edgar Middle School schedules a day for the students to showcase their paintings, drawings and all kinds of art pieces.

After a stroll along a crowded Main Street for the annual Street Fair, we headed over at Edgar Middle School to view the students’ masterpieces. The school’s Art Department turned the school gymnasium into a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling art gallery! The students went all out this year with the range of art applications and medium displayed. We were especially intrigued with all the ceramics work and the very detailed woodworks. Noticeable too were the mono-colored art pieces hanging on the front hallway which was also lined with artfully painted wooden chairs. Remarkable. The art teachers and the school principal were all on hand to answer questions and to simply meet and greet visitors. Thanks Edgar Middle School!
