HappyFest, the first all ages, all abilities accessible obstacle course of it’s kind, is taking place once again at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, on Saturday, June 17th, 2017.

HappyFest is the country’s FIRST mainstream obstacle course designed for people of all fitness levels and ages. What makes it unique is that all the the obstacles on the field are handicap accessible — whether its people in wheelchairs, those using crutches, etc. Additionally, because the course is autism- and down syndrome- friendly, every member of every family is able to enjoy and participate in this day of live music, games and fitness together.

The concept was inspired and founded by Adam Stengel, whose oldest son is in and out of a wheelchair. He recognized that not everyone was able to participate in “Tough Mudder” and other likeminded fitness events, making some feel left out, so he sought to create a course that worked for people of all ages and abilities.
