The Metuchen Cultural Arts Commission is sponsoring a free jazz concert on September 25, 2010, at the Metuchen Open Air Theater (the MOAT) at Borough Hall, 500 Main Street. The concert is a double bill featureing volcalists Vida Allworthy & Steve Kaplan’s Occasional Trio and Mary Foster Conklin with Art Lillard’s On-Time Band, from 3:30 – 6:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair. In the event of rain, the concert will be held inside the Metuchen Senior Center, 15 Center Street, Metuchen.
This concert is made possible in part by funds from the NJ State Council on Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of National Endowment for the Arts; through a grant provided by the Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission/Board of Chosen Freeholders.
