From Town Soccer Club:

The Metuchen Town Soccer Club is a recreational soccer club for children in grades K-8 who live or attend school in Metuchen or whose parent works in Metuchen.

The Metuchen Town Soccer Club was established in 1991 by Tony Black. The club’s Tony Black Memorial Fund awards scholarships every year to Metuchen High School senior soccer players who demonstrate excellence in academics and community service.

There are no tryouts, everyone plays, and they play small-sided games. Each fall over 500 children participate in the ten week season on over 50 teams, assisted by over 100 adult volunteers, with support from Metuchen area businesses as team sponsors. Games are played on Saturdays between 9 AM and 2 PM.
