This fall, we will offer several exciting classes for all ages! The classes will begin Sept. 17 and run six weeks in the Forum Theatre Blue Room. All classes are only $100 for all six weeks.
Classes planned and taught by Dragonfly Artistic Director Catherine LaMoreaux, a NJ-certified teacher with experience teaching theatre in middle schools and high school.
Acting for Kids
Thursdays, Sept. 17-Oct. 22
4:30-5:30 pm
Kids grades 3-6
Students will be able to discover the joy of per-forming in this class that will use theatre games to develop confidence, and play practice to increase performance skills. Students will get the oppor-tunity to undertake scenes and musical numbers from musical theatre and will put on a short show for parents and friends.
Teen & Preteen Acting
Fridays, Sept. 18-Oct. 23

Kids ages 12-16
Students will have opportunities to play theatre games and practice acting in scenes from plays. The class will include learning to act for the camera. At the last class, students will present a performance for family and friends.
Adult Improv, Monologues & Scenes
Fridays, Sept. 18-Oct. 23
7:30-8:30
Ages 16 and up
Adults will develop their skills and confidence through improv activities, scene study and mono-logue preparation. Topics covered will in-clude character development, script analysis, and audition preparation.
