Community members are invited to join representatives from The Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor and elected officials, Metuchen Police Department, Metuchen Fire Department, Metuchen EMS and members of the clergy as we remember all those lost on September 11, 2001. Small tributes of individual flowers or American flags would be appreciated. A moment of silence will be observed. The Freedom Plaza Memorial was erected as a place for reflection, remembrance, and affirmation.
The ceremony will begin at 7:00pm at the corners of Main Street and Woodbridge Avenue.
