Metuchen, NJ – The Cathedral Concerts at St. Francis is set to host a spectacular evening of organ music with the “Festival of Organists,” featuring four distinguished organists performing on the renowned four-manual organ. The event will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 7 PM at the Cathedral of St. Francis Assisi, located at 548 Main Street, Metuchen, NJ.

The festival will showcase the talents of Daniel Romero, formerly of Grace Church Newark; Brenda Day, Organist Emerita of The First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen; David McCarthy, Director of Music at Atonement Lutheran Church in Rochester, NY; and Christopher Deibert, Organist of the Cathedral of St. Francis, Metuchen. These accomplished musicians will present a recital of magnificent organ music spanning six centuries, along with creative solo and duet improvisations.

The event promises to be a unique musical experience, with the first 40 audience members receiving special Gallery (Choir Loft) seating. A suggested donation of $20 is requested for general seating, and light refreshments will be served afterward.
