The Metuchen Recreation Commission is sponsoring Chess for Kids classes, Thursday evenings from June 9th, June 16th, June 23, June 30th, ( 4 sessions) 5:45pm – 6;45pm for ages 6 – up, beginners and advancing beginners; learn the basics or to improve your game.
Have fun while developing problem solving and decision making skills. The cost of the program is $52 per person and will be held at the Metuchen Library.
Classes will be conducted by Alexander Braylovskiy, a US certified chess coach and a champion player who has been a professional instructor for over 20 years.
