The Metuchen Recreation Commission is sponsoring “Chess for Kids” classes 6-7 p.m. Thursday evenings, Sept. 15-Oct 13, at the Metuchen library, Library Place, Metuchen.
Children ages 6 and up, beginners and advanced beginners, can learn the basics or how to improve their game. Classes will be taught by Alexander Braylovskiy, U.S.-certified chess coach, who has been a professional instructor for 20 years. The cost is $65.
