We’ll venture out to say that this could arguably be the most successful event the Chamber has sponsored this year! Or perhaps Metuchenites just couldn’t wait to get out of their homes after Sandy. And boy did we come out of hiding! It’ll be an understatement if we we say the Pearl parking garage was packed. The annual Halloween Parade was transformed into a large community “Trunk Or Treat” where residents also participated in handing out treats. It started with Kids and wannabe kids aka parents making a beeline following a ‘Bee’ to tables sponsored by local businesses. All kinds of treats were handed out everyone’s delight. There were also hundreds of private cars that participated in the “Trunk Or Treat” portion with some even decorating their cars. A DJ and balloon artists added to the festive mood! Thank you Chamber and Thank You Metuchen! We have more photos in our facebook page so head on over there…
