The Metuchen Grapplers Recreational Wrestling Program helps to build the enduring values of excellence, self-confidence, perseverance and discipline in Metuchen and North Edison youth. Through wrestling, kids develop strength, balance, flexibility, endurance and most importantly, confidence in their abilities. These attributes are the basis of all competitive sports…and also essential ingredients for success in life.
The program is open to Metuchen and North Edison youth grades K-8th of all skill levels – from those without any wrestling background to highly skilled wrestlers. All children are matched to others with similar skills. Experienced coaches offer personalized instruction to nurture talent and motivate children to reach their individual potential and team goals.
