What was once a simple tour hosted by the historical society and library in the 1970s, the annual event evolved to being one of the highly anticipated event by the Borough Improvement League. The tour featured homes of varying architectural and decorating styles, including two well-maintained homes from the 1800s, a mid-20th century contemporary and a newly constructed home. Definitely a tour of architectural and interior design beauty that brought smiles to both visitors and hosts alike.

The tour was part of a weekend holiday kickoff that began with a holiday tree lighting event on Dec. 6, followed by an event on Dec. 7 from 7-10 p.m. called “Eat, Drink and Buy Art” at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse’s Transformations Gallery.
