Metuchen’s Hometown Holidays Weekend Guide

(This guide was designed by MetuchenLiving.com and compiled by the Borough Improvement League. The B.I.L. was founded in 1901 “To arouse and to develop among the residents of the Borough of Metuchen a deeper and more active interest in the general growth and material welfare of the Borough.” For additional copies, or to have an event included in next year’s guide, visit www.boroughimprovementleague.org)

Make a point to shop, dine and enjoy time with friends and family locally this Holiday Season! Visit our hometown businesses and support our many non-profits, schools, house of worship, artisans and community groups. We can make a real difference this year towards keeping our community and historic downtown district vibrant and exciting.
For every $100 spent in a locally owned shop, $68 returns to the community. Shopping at a big bode store only returns $43. Shopping online returns $0 to our town. Let’s help Metuchen continue to be a welcoming and inviting destination for residents and visitors alike. Help by showing your support for our downtown businesses. Make plans to spend this ‘Hometown Holiday Weekend’ in Metuchen, taking advantage of all the wonderful things our town has to offer!
