Longtime Metuchen Resident and Chief Technical Advisor for Security Systems to the WTC to Speak at the Metuchen Library on Sunday, September 18 at 2 PM

On Sunday, September 18 at 2 PM, Victor Guarnera, a longtime Metuchen resident, will speak of his experiences as the Chief Technical Advisor for Security Systems to the World Trade Center, at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Avenue. Mr.Guarnera assisted in the evacuation of 1 World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001. He was one of the last people to leave the North Tower and was an integral part of the coordination of rescue and recovery efforts in the hours and days following. Guarnera was awarded the Civilian Medal for Bravery/ Valor. The program will be followed by a Q and A with the audience. Refreshments will be served.
