Metuchen Rocks! 2012 Present Random Test Reggae Band – For over a decade, Random Test Reggae Band has been rocking the Jersey Shore with music heavily coated in Caribbean traditions. With members hailing from all over the Caribbean, the group brings a cache of authentic reggae and calypso rhythms in true West Indian fashion.

Random test takes you on a musical journey that pays tribute to pioneers in reggae and soca music. From the early days to today, staying true to the real roots and culture. Often heard rocking Jamian’s on Monmouth Street, Red Bank, N.J., Random Test has graced the stage at many events, parties, bars, and clubs in and around New Jersey, notably – ? The State Theatre, New Brunswick ? The Patriot Theatre @ Trenton War Memorial ? Joey Harrison’s Surf Club ? The Stone Pony ? Headliners ? Jenkinson’s ? Downtown Cafe in Red Bank Along with numerous other venues out of State.

The band’s notoriety has brought them recognition and they are called upon to do show openers for such bands as Burning Spear, Culture, Kymani, Marley, The Wailers and Third World. To their credit, the band has one CD titled, Random test…Roots, Rock, Reggae. The second disk is currently in the works. It is said that music is the heartbeat of the people.
