Saturday Picnic

Metuchen Little League Picnic – How come no one has told us about this awesome Picnic?! Apparently this annual event has been going on for years. We were surprised. No shocked, to see the field between Fater and Hoyer Field turned into what could pass as a mini theme park! For $9 ($6 if you bought early), we got an arm band that allowed us entry to ALL the rides and ALL the food that we could eat. There were burgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, fruits, salads, ice cream, popcorn and cotton candy. Mmmm, cotton candy! On top of that, there were games going on! What an event! We have one complain…the organizers must do a better job at promoting this. We’re still bummed that we didn’t know about this sooner. Oh well. Goes to show you, one has to be on top of what’s going on in town. Otherwise, you’ll miss gems like this one. 😉
