October 15, 2017 – The half living bodies rolled through the Brainy Borough searching for what the town has to offer. The dead gathered together at Friends of the Family preschool playground along Hillside Ave and staggered through the streets of our quaint little town of Metuchen, spreading word to follow the herd as they marched up and down Main Street to the surprise of Sunday afternoon dining crowd. They soon arrived at the post-mortem destination for their undead gathering at Hailey’s Harp-cade for a Bloody Mary, a Zombie, or a craft beer. Drink and food specials for both adult and children zombies were at the ready, as well as playtime in arcade game while playing dead. Kids zombies gotta have fun too! Gift certificates and prizes for best costumes were warded. Cai’s Cafe served up creepy cocoa and coffee and snacks before the walk to the delight of the thirsty and hungry bodies.
